At Dom DeMarco’s Pizzeria & Wine Bar, we are serving up the ultimate in Italian flavors right here in Las Vegas. With our rich pizza history, rooted in Brooklyn, NY, we honor our namesake, Domenico DeMarco.
Known for his pizza, passion, and perseverance, he immigrated to New York in 1959 from Italy via the Province of Caserta. He went on to open at Di Fara in 1965 on Avenue J, which launched him into the national pizza spotlight. He would arrive everyday to personally make the pizzas and cater to his worldwide audience. Visitors from all over the world would stop by to get a glimpse of the master craftsman and taste his masterpieces. Making their own pizza pilgrimage.
As written in many national publications, Di Fara is the standard of pizza. In March of 2022, Eater wrote, “Di Fara’s national recognition has never waned. It garnered numerous accolades from publications often calling DeMarco’s pizzas among the best in the country.”
Until his passing in March 2022, Domenico DeMarco would still visit the Avenue J location for quality control. From his passion for imported ingredients, guests ask all the time what makes the Las Vegas location special? The best way to express our feeling is by saying: Taste the Quality at Dom DeMarco’s!
We now enjoy visitors to Las Vegas to compare their experience in Las Vegas with memories of Avenue J. Our team works everyday to uphold the tradition that Domenico created, by making pizza with “love and discipline.” We will carry on the passion, perseverance, and the dedication at Dom DeMarco’s Pizzeria & Wine Bar.
